At the Sands Gallery we celebrate the vibrant spirits of the KZN coast through innovative and provocative art exhibitions. We showcase the work of local artists and those further north in Africa, highlighting the region's unique cultural heritage and natural beauty.
We strive to create a welcoming and inspiring environment that fosters community engagement. Through exhibitions, programs and events we aim to enrich the lives of our visitors and contribute to the cultural vitality of our resort and in general.
In the past year since our opening, three exhibitions have established the gallery as a prime venue for cultural and artistic sharing.
All exhibitions: WABI SABI, WOMEN AND THE HEAD-DRESS, THE THIRD DIMENSION and currently SPIRITS OF THE GREEN COAST, have confirmed Sands Gallery as an exciting venue for investors and art lovers.

Exploring aspects of the mystical in the everyday in KZN.
Spirits of the green coast explores the quiet presence of nature and the unseen sense of spirit that lives within and around us.
Through each artwork, the exhibition invites viewers to notice the mystical in the everyday, from the landscapes we move through to the divine scenery that moves us. Rooted in the lush beauty of the KZN coast, it reflects on how nature is constantly moving, changing and always present.

Hum
Artist: Jennifer Hirsch
Hum by Jennifer Hirsch is a vibrant mosaic celebrating the beauty and vitality of the natural world. Through bold colour, beautiful patterns and the delicate image of a hummingbird in flight, the work evokes a sense of harmony, between nature and its pollinators.
